Recently I was chatting to a dear friend of mine over in San Diego and he was telling me about this wonderful yoga book he’s been reading.  Many of us who love yoga also love to learn more about yoga (surprise surprise), and are constantly looking for yoga books to read.  But as life goes, there’s a lot of crap out there, and really just not enough time to sieve through all of it to find the gems, you know.  I’m one of those people, always thinking what to read next but always worried I’m going to be wasting my money on a crap book.  So whilst chatting to my friend I realised I’m surrounded by people who love yoga, who’ve read a lot of yoga books through the years of yoga we’ve been doing, why not put these heads together and start a yoga book club!

So I’ve created this group on Facebook, the Yoga Book Club.  There are no monthly meetings, no deadlines for finishing a certain book by a certain date so we can discuss it.  No rules really.  It’s just a place for people to discuss, share, ask questions and recommendations on what to read next.  Perhaps there’s a certain topic you’d like to read up on and wondering what’s a good book to read, come to this group and ask away!  I will be posting up pictures of all sorts of yoga books, some I have read, most I have not.  But most likely someone in the group will have and can give some insight into it.  It’s for anyone who have an interest in yoga, not necessarily only for yoga teachers.  Anyone from anywhere is welcome!  Click here to go to the group!

Namaste,
