I’ve been very busy this week working on my new website which officially goes live NOW! It’s been a difficult few days, learning my way around making my own website, writing up stuff for the various pages, editing photos etc. But alas it’s done now and I’m happy with the results. For now anyways.
In addition to the new website, I’m also announcing my workshop scheduled for May 2012, on Alignment and Techniques:

I remember when I first started yoga, half the time I was looking around the room to check what everyone else was doing, whilst the rest of the time I was wondering if what I was doing was right or not. Some times, I just couldn’t do some of the postures properly because I wasn’t strong enough, and I didn’t know whether I should just skip the pose or do a really half-arse version of it. Whichever of the above option it was, the result was the same thing – an extremely confused Karen. Unfortunately, in a 60 minute yoga class, there just isn’t enough time to ask the teacher questions that may take 10minutes out of the rest of the class. And that is what workshops are for! I decided to have this workshop to address some of those issues I mentioned above, on the most frequently practised postures in any yoga class that many of us at one point or another have wondered if it’s right or wrong! In addition, we will also be examining our bodies to decide if there are any limitations that is restricting us from doing the posture, and how to work with those limitations if there are.
There is soooooo much I’d like to share, I’m so excited and really look forward to getting our yoga on together! Woohooo!
