YOGA

“I have long suffered (20 years) lower back problems and progressively worse related right hip problems. I have been a regular at Chiro and the Osteopath for many years. The Osteopath seemed to sort out my lower back but I was not having any luck with my hip. I was very often in pain and limping. Often at night the pain was severe enough to stop me from getting to sleep or even wake me up in the middle of the night. My Osteopath suggested yoga could be beneficial.

Within 4 to 5 weeks of joining Karen’s Corporate Yoga class I began to experience significant relief. I no longer experienced severe pain at night and had no more issues with my hip interrupting my sleep. It is now 8 weeks since I started yoga with Karen. My hip still gives me some grief some days, but it is no where near as severe and has become an intermittent pain rather than near permanent. I feel that if I keep up the yoga, I will have total relief in the not too distant future.

Karen has been very conscious to take note of all her students pre-existing conditions and ailments. She regularly enquires about students’ progress with their particular ailments. Karen advocates being aware of your own body, going at your own pace and not doing anything that causes pain. I’m sure she is mindful of her students’ conditions when she plans the classes and includes particular stretches and poses to help individuals with specific problems. Karen demonstrates a sincere interest in peoples well being. In my opinion and experience, she has the ability to help you improve mobility, health and well being. For these reasons I highly recommend taking a yoga class with Karen.” – Michael, Melbourne

THAI YOGA MASSAGE

“Being in Karen’s warm, beautiful hands made me so relaxed, peaceful and calm, a state I will try to bring to my everyday life. The great troubles of my mind that day dispersed completely, replaced by an unhurried, positive outlook that lasted the rest of the evening. We are so lucky to have people such as Karen among us, who can reach out, connect, touch and heal us physically and emotionally.” - Mark, South Melbourne
